The results are surprising and in fact shocking, but it is the way of democracy!
人民开窍了！
- DAP/PKR/PAS had successfully denied the 2/3 majority of Barisan Nasional! (82 seats)
- BN had lost in Kelantan, Pulau Pinang, Selangor, Kedah, Perak.
(5 out of 12 Dewan Undangan Negeri contested are now in the hand of opposition.
Moreover, in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Barisan Nasional won only ONE out of 11 parliamentary seats. - Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) emerged to be the leading opposition party (31 seats in Parliament), followed by DAP (28), and PAS (23).
- Out of 5 Barisan Nasional major component party leaders, 3 of them had lost
(GERAKAN Koh Tsu Koon, MIC Sammy Vellu, PPP M. Kayveas).
Only 2 won (UMNO Abdullah, MCA Ong Ka Ting) - The legend of “zero-opposition” in Johor? NO MORE.
- The title of minister does not guarantee anything.
Minister of Information – Zainuddin lost.
Minister of Woman, Family, Community Development – Shahrizat lost.
Minister of Works – Samy Vellu lost.
Minister in PM Dept – Kayveas lost.
and a lot more of MCA/GERAKAN Deputy Minister had lost in GE12. - GERAKAN is the big loser. 民政党在中央有担任官职者，全军覆没。
MCA doesn’t look good as well.

- How is the new cabinet lineup going to be?
- Who are the “voice in cabinet” for ethnic Chinese and Indians?
- What will happen to the BN component party leader who had lost in GE12? Senator?

Presiden UMNO tanpa dicabar in this coming UMNO election, or Najib will contest against him?
Hmm… - Anwar Ibrahim = opposition-leader-to-be? (After April)
- Those states in the hand of DAP/PKR/PAS,
what can we expect from them in the coming 5 years?
Can they (DAP/PKR/PAS) really form a better state government?
Can they work along together despite of different ideology?

很喜欢马六甲的政治气候。
反对党势力不会薄弱，不像JB那般没有看头。只可惜还不够岁不能够投票。
找一天要把那些banner和bunting，还有那个特制的油桶火箭，留作纪念。
这里有一些非常有创意的video。值得一看。
尤其是Youth 4 Change的Ubah Gaya Hidup.

Just to quote some interesting parts.
I see this because in 50 years after independence, At no time have you seen UMNO this arrogant. No time…
I was in the UMNO from 1982 till 1998. Yes, there were problems, but never this arrogant. The ministers just dismissed, “No, we will not talk to you. No, we will not meet you,” I meet problem with Chinese education but never had I said “no, we refuse to talk to you”.
Now, that happen. We can have UMNO youth leaders pointing to Suqiu 诉求 leaders. We have UMNO youth leader, Minister of Education brandishing the keris, indirectly warning the Chinese.
And now they think by allocating 13 schools the Chinese can be bought over. I think they had made a big mistake!
We have lost our competiveness. We have lost to Vietnam!
Never mind China and India, we have lost long time ago. We have lost to Vietnam, we have lost to Indonesia in FDI (Foreign Direct Investment 外资). We have lost to Thailand.
Do we want to lose Burma? You support Barisan Nasional.
I can assure you, we will lose to Burma…

Try to imagine Friendster, Yahoo Mail, Chinese Cari, Google Adsense, Advertlets, Nuffnang, Blogspot full with Barisan Nasional’s manifesto?! @@
Hanya Satu Pilihan? Only one choice? Vote for Malaysia?
No no… We still have DAP, PKR, PAS…
Pandai betul in choosing the word, “vote for Malaysia”.
They must have spent lots of $$$$ on this.

刚刚收到，觉得挺有意思的……
在哪里你可以看到全世界最烂的工程部长 – 马来西亚
原因：沙美维鲁只有中六的学历，国会大厦经过接近一亿的装修，还是经常漏水。政府医院发霉，高速公路有裂痕，最要命的是签了那些不知所谓的大道合同，赔死我们。更要命的是，
他到现在还是工程部长！
在哪里可以看到超人般的部长 – 马来西亚
原因：我们的首相阿杜拉 – 回教系毕业，但是可以同时作为财政部长，国家安全部长及首相，还有时间在南马大水灾发生时去澳洲为自己弟弟的nasi kandar店开幕。
在哪里可以看到不卫生的卫生部长 – 马来西亚
原因：身为医生的卫生部长和卖花女在酒店开房，口交。或许我们的卫生部长的老婆没有和黄燕燕副部长讨教，如何穿性感的睡衣，绑住卫生部长的心？
在哪里可以看到最成功的教育部长 – 马来西亚
原因：他的孩子都在澳洲读书
在哪里可以看到最会演戏的贸工部长 – 马来西亚
原因：AP 事件没完没了，拉姑流了一把鼻涕一把泪后，没事！
在哪里做议员最爽 – 马来西亚
原因：能够从火车闸看守员，做到巴生议员，再盖了一个千万皇宫，还请埋普罗大众一起去他的house warming。

原因：未详，或许马来西亚的土壤上有着一种神秘物质，会让人民记忆消退，继续投票给那些没有用的贪官污吏。

年輕兼具專業背景
李傑爾上陣機會濃林涌德讓位，馬華來屆大選Kota Laksamana州選區候選人呼之欲出，據悉，年輕律師李傑爾上陣機會濃！
顏文龍接受本報訪問時所說，新人將是一名年輕，具備專業背景，而且在黨內很活躍，在社會上的知名度也高。
李傑爾律師現擔任馬華敦陳禎祿支團團長，在社團方面，擔任馬六甲中華大會堂青年團理事、李氏宗祠法律顧問、青年團財政、馬六甲年少情法律顧問、亞洲花園居民協會主席等。
他在上屆大選曾是甲市區國會議員王乃志助選團成員之一，過后在政黨及社團組織都有活動，有一定的知名度。
所以，一般相信李傑爾在來屆大選上陣的機會高，如果該州議席民主行動黨再度派出現任州議員周玉清律師上陣，將出現律師對戰的局面。
